Increase in vehicle crime

Dear resident, 

We are writing to inform you of a recent increase in thefts from and theft of motor vehicles within our local area.

Over the past several weeks, Police have received reports of vehicles being entered and property being stolen, particularly during overnight hours. In many cases, offenders have targeted vehicles that were left unlocked or contained valuables in plain view.

We ask for your assistance in helping to reduce these incidents by taking the following precautions:

If you believe your vehicle has been tampered with or property stolen, please report it to Police as soon as possible. Prompt reporting helps us identify patterns and respond effectively. 

We appreciate the community's continued cooperation and vigilance. Working together, we can help prevent further incidents and keep our neighbourhoods safe.
